Climate Change

 

 

 "It's 50° in Vegas, today," my husband said.

That's not so hot, I thought, until I realized he was talking centigrade not Fahrenheit.  122° is bloody hot.

Watching the world weather, the planet is experiencing massive heat waves earlier and stronger than ever before.

George W. declared he didn't want to lose any jobs fighting alleged climate change. Well if we think of all the jobs and economic havoc caused by heat waves, blizzards, tornadoes, droughts, fires and floods ... perhaps it would have been better to spend the money on prevention.

The CEOs of oil companies that read climate change reports and denied them, afraid of lowering profits, governments, the people who toddled around in big cars are also responsible.

When will people change their lifestyles? When will the powers that be do what it is necessary?

My guess ... when it is too late if it already isn't.
