Argelès is filled with houses going back several centuries. Many have been renovated and are beautiful.
Because of inheritance laws in France some are left empty such as the four-story one above. It has been so, since I bought my flat 27 years ago. The houses on each side are nicely finished.
Every time I walk by it, I imagine renovating it. The moment of insanity passes. Rick, although newer to the neighborhood, has had similar thoughts. His moments of insanity pass too.
Meanwhile, the bird has his happy home.
