Treason Jan. 6th

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the insane one.

I always thought people who tried to overthrow a government were traitors and committed treason to that government.

Of course, there are those who would say they are patriots. I suppose it depends if they are successful or not. Like those Brits that fought their fellow Brits in April 1776.

At the highest level, prior to January 6, 2021, many at top echelons of government were trying to subvert the Constitution by nullifying the legal and honest election results, the will of the people. An unelected president would have occupied the office had they succeeded.

The wife of a Supreme Court Justice swallows a lie about election fraud and talks to top White House people about over throwing the elected president. I can't believe her husband knew nothing. If he didn't say anything, than he was an accessory to treason.

Unlike in 1776, the Jan. 6 grievances were not based on reality.

So suggesting overturning a legal election based on lies, seems wrong.

But people don't seem to want to call it for what it is.

Treason.
