Writer to writer

As a writer I like seeing where others write, not that i compare myself to Pushkin or Dostoevsky.

Dostoevsky's last home was in this building. The entrance is the brown door in the middle.

Seeing the table where his children left him notes not to disturb his work, the couch where he died, the other artifacts of his life was indeed a thrill and encouragement to reread at least one of his works.

Pushkin's statue in a relaxed pose. Perhaps he was contemplating his own death in a duel. If only he had lived to his forties what would he have written?

Note added -- Strangely although there are correct capitals when I publish the post, when I bring it up on-line, the capitals have disappeared. Other posts don't seem to have a capital problem.  Maybe e.e. cummings is channeling himself through the internet.
