Back to one of our homes

We've spent part of the last four months in Geneva where we changed from one great flat to another.

Wednesday we returned to our home in Argelès-Sur-Mer. When we went for a coffee at Mille et Un, before unpacking, we immediately ran into several friends. Sherlock ran into three of his doggy friends.

Today was the regular marché. At l'Hostalet, a cafe, we ran into friends from Denmark, Ireland, ASM, Netherlands, UK Toulouse and other local villagers as we drank our bio strawberry juice, Yorkshire tea and hot chocolate and nibbled our choclatine or pain au chocolate depending where in a Francophone country you're from, and caught up on what people had done over the winter, the musicians that play jazz were back.

Also saw some of Sherlock's four.footed friends. We feel that the marché has too many feet to step on our pup so we leave him home these days.

What I call the Catalan carolers were singing around the village, a tribute to their patrimony.

We picked up the Brownie lady's mocha brownies, fresh veggies for lunch. Made lunch and meet up plans for other get-togethers.

Our Swiss and French lives are very different. Both are wonderful.
