A cute little Teddy bear is vacationing next door. He is often in Argelès with his owner who has flat-faced white angora type cats (A special breed, but I don't know the name in French or English.)
I suggested that Petite Cougar go over and say hi. She narrowed her eyes. "It's too soon. And I'm not through with Scooby." The tone was a bit frightening or maybe it was my imagination. However, she agreed to be neighbourly. She was gone quite a while.
Later I saw Ted on the street. "Bonjour Madame Nelson. He then went on in French how he'd found my Petite Cougar adorable, but all she talked about was "that scumbag Scooby."
Hmmmmmm.
