The sirens are blowing

This is the annual test of the Swiss alarm system. The whoooooo is heard through the new windows but is soft. If it were a real emergency at night, I doubt it would wake me, and I'm not sure what the system would be used for.

On the other hand, it does work, but then this is Switzerland where things work more than they don't.
