Rick and I were walking up the hill to the Fête de la Courge. The Alps were in full view. The vineyards to our right were heavy with unpicked grapes.
"Christmas letters are a lot like Facebook," Rick said.
Knowing that whatever followed would be interesting, I asked. "Do you want to explain?"
"Christmas letters are always filled with the things people did over the past year. Facebook just does it on an daily basis rather than annually."
He was right. Should I end my posts of my adventures with Merry Christmas?
