The Reunion

The bunnies and Scooby II travelled with us on our Nostalgia Trip. For Scooby II it was even more important. He was going to meet his father for the first time. They had talked briefly on Skype but for the pup that wasn't enough.

Despite his mother's, Petite Cougar's worries, he was determined. She knew what rejection from the old boy felt like. She bemoaned that Scooby I didn't pay child support even though he was working doing commercials.

Honey Bunny and Herr Hare did their best to keep the youngster under control.

He asked a Frog at the Frog Pond what he should say to his father when her met him.

He also consulted with the ducks from Make Way for Ducklings.

He shouldn't have worried. His father hugged him and asked him about his mother. His father told Scooby II how much he enjoyed his stay in Argelès and how lucky his son was to be living there.

Honey Bunny whispered to me, that of course he did. He had Petite Cougar as his girl friend. It had been a romantic couple of weeks for both of them. 

Scooby II even met a cousin, who is living with Scooby I. This made Scooby II a bit jealous. Why couldn't he stay with his father? Scooby I told him that his son would be better off with his mother.

Reluctantly Scooby II agreed to leave with Rick and Donna-Lane. He did say some of his curiosity about his father was satisfied. Honey Bunny asked him if he felt rejected, although she didn't bring up the lack of child support. Scooby II didn't answer. He went into the back seat and sulked.
