Not your usual local restaurant
The wine was the local Banyuls, a bit like porto and rosé. The liquid in the glass was once growing if not this vine, one close by.
There were 18 of us and unlike the previous hot, hot days and yesterdays downpour, it was refreshing (read windy and cold but that didn't diminish the magic of the setting or the company).
When the moon came out, it was time to wend our way down the mountain and home.
A lovely end to the summer season.
