Detail of Event: Officers Casey and Anna Palka answered 911 call at 22 Sherwin Avenue with report of domestic violence.
We arrived at scene 11:22 p.m. Husband Dr. Ben Packard broke window in front door to gain entry after wife, locked him out. 6th time in past 5 months, we’ve been called to house. We entered. Husband hitting wife with large wooden candlestick holder. Husband ran out patio door. I chased, caught and handcuffed him while Palka tried to calm wife.
Actions taken: Husband sleeping it off in cell. Wife refuses to sign complaint. Wont go for restraining order.Wife refused to go to hospital. Says will embarras her husband at his job. Nothing more we can do.
