That is the way the death of the creator of 2001 A Space Odyssey, was described in the Tribune De Genève. I am always amazed on the original and poetic ways to say someone died found by the francophone press, but it still doesn’t beat Arthur Miller has joined his Marilyn.
The photo is of a condolence table placed on the sidewalk outside the homes where Argelesiens have died for passers by to leave messages. Then the table is removed and taken to the church outside during the funeral, giving people a last chance to share their feelings.
