Buying food

Food shopping can be boring UNLESS you do it at a French marché.

Joel, our olive dealer, after giving him the New Years kisses, put fruit in a bag. "It's free if you can catch it." He pretended to dribble, then tossed it to me. I caught it.

Then there was our chat with Catherine, the brownie lady. Her pastries are great and sometimes she brings me a bag of baked dough, which I love because they carry childhood of my grandmother doing the same thing.

Rick grabbed me and we danced on the street.

Marché shopping, much more interesting than a supermarket can offer, and more personal.
