Rainy days and Sundays don't get me down

What a hectic week between travelling up from Argelès and trying to get out four newsletters instead of one and correct Murder in Schwyz so I will carry less papers back kept me mega-busy.

Not that it was all work. With national holidays and birthdays to celebrate there was fun.

Rain Saturday night played a lullaby on the roof. It was still raining Sunday morning. Wonderful...a sweatshirt, sloppy pants and cups of tea as I worked at the computer.

When the sun came out late in the day, Rick suggested a walk to the lake, but we went to the far beach, a grassy area leading down to the water. Very few people were there between the hour and the rain, although there was a family feeding decks and a few swimmers.

Tents were still set up for the National Day celebration on Friday and Rick sat on the rocks where the bonfire had been lit. On the way down to the beach, he'd bent to push a ball trapped under the trees to the lawn where it could once again be played with (sorry for the preposition at the end J).

Came home to nibbles and good conversation with husband, housemate and her No. 2 son.

Nothing special but everything was special, very special.
